I had high hopes for this record. First time I saw Monotract they could have fit right in with Mars and DNA. Short, abrasive, stop-start songs – I was in a state of bliss. This record, however, is formless, instrumental wandering that is in no way memorable. This kind of thing just doesn’t work in the 7” format (unless yer Harry Pussy's first record). After emigrating to NYC, they continue to make music on labels such as Ecstatic Peace and Load. The LP that I found is quite good.
